Servicing Garage Doors in Edgewater since 1991
Lakewood Garage Door has provided professional garage door repair, installation, and opener services to Edgewater homeowners since 1991. Edgewater's history dates to 1861, when farmer Thomas Sloan struck an underground water aquifer or spring while digging a well, creating a 200-acre lake named after him. The surrounding area became a popular recreation destination, especially after the opening of Manhattan Beach amusement park in 1889. Named for its location along the western edge of Sloan's Lake, Edgewater attracted settlers, businesses, and visitors from nearby Denver. Residents voted to incorporate in 1901, and the community gained official city recognition in 1904. Today, Edgewater is a small, vibrant community known for its historic neighborhoods, local businesses, and proximity to Sloan's Lake. The city has a unique mix of antique and contemporary homes with a wide variety of garage door installations.
