Servicing Garage Doors in Genesee since 1991
Lakewood Garage Door, a locally owned business, has serviced and installed garage doors and openers in Genesee since 1991. Genesee is an unincorporated community in Jefferson County in the Front Range foothills. Around 1860, the John D. Patrick family built a two-story wood-frame house that operated as a toll station along an early road connecting Denver to the mountains during the Colorado Gold Rush. The route served as a critical passage for stagecoaches and miners heading toward Central City and the high country. Architect Charles Deaton completed construction of a futuristic, circular spaceship house in 1966, which later gained national fame in Woody Allen's 1973 film Sleeper.
Garage Door Maintenance
We recommend inspecting and maintaining garage doors periodically to keep them operating efficiently and safely. Garage doors typically stop working because of broken springs, rollers, or cables. Inspections discover problems before they cause door operational failure. Click here to see what we do during a basic garage door maintenance appointment.
