Our History – Lakewood Garage Door
Lakewood Garage Door began in 1991 when Stuart Lane turned a chance opportunity to install a garage door in a barn into a career. Stuart and Vonda were known as the “husband-and-wife garage door team” when they first started working together in the Denver metro area. They named their company Precision Garage Door. They traveled together, installing and repairing garage doors and openers before Vonda transitioned into managing the office as their family grew. Renamed Lakewood Garage Door in 2005, the family-owned business has continued to grow and has earned over 360 positive Yelp reviews. More than 35 years later, our commitment remains the same: honest service, quality work, and customers for life.
